Description:

• To be used in construction joints or expansion joints before filling up the sealant.
• The purpose is to provide a sealed base for non cured sealant to stand after it is filled in the joint so as to prevent "over consumption" of sealant.
• The Backer rod is inserted as a tight fitting seal. The thickness of the tube is taken a bit more than the width of the joint so that it is compressed and inserted inside the joint.

Recommended uses:

• Expansion joints
• Contraction joints
